XStream Software’s SharePoint Ribbonizer is a SharePoint 2010 product that allows for the removal and/or disabling of existing buttons on the UI Ribbon panel of SharePoint sites - without requiring any lines of code to do so. The SharePoint Ribbonizer product gives SharePoint Administrators the power to make changes to the UI Ribbon panel effortlessly through a simple-to-use SharePoint administration page available in the Site Settings of a SharePoint site.
As more and more organizations deploy out-of-the-box SharePoint 2010 sites (which contain the UI Ribbon panel), there is a need to restrict or eliminate accessibility to certain buttons within the out-of-the-box UI Ribbon panel. Through an easy-to-use SharePoint page in the Site Settings of any SharePoint site, SharePoint Ribbonizer allows any SharePoint Administrator to easily hide and disable buttons from the UI Ribbon panel. In addition, through the use of the SharePoint Ribbonizer product, SharePoint Administrators can set changes to buttons on the UI Ribbon panel to target specific SharePoint groups and users only. By using the SharePoint Ribbonizer product, organizations will save time and money by eliminating the need for custom programming and development for the ever-changing accessibility requirements of the SharePoint UI Ribbon buttons.
