Handles Attendees' Status Replies - Accept, Decline, Propose new Time, ...
Calendar E-mail Extension awaits status replies and makes the attendee status available in events and meeting workspace's attendee lists.

Forwards Attendees' Status Replies
Define users to forward attendee status replies including a status summary to. As soon as a reply receives, it will be processed and you will be informed about the new status, the original reply is attached to the message to make sure all information is transferred.

Attendee Status and Communication Log

Team and Resource Scheduling
Calendar E-mail extended lists provide full support for team and resource scheduling after configuring calendar lists to schedule team and resources. Turn off (!) team and resource scheduling again to get back to unfiltered views, the scheduling capability keeps on existing.

Use public E-mail Aliases
Calendar E-mail Extension supports public e-mail aliases, if your SharePoint's inbound e-mail domain is not public. You will need a valid e-mail alias to let external attendees respond to your invitations. Instead of meeting request senders like team-calendar @ you can configure aliases like team-calendar @ .*

*This requires configuring an Exchange Contact with an external e-mail address, that corresponds to the internal list's e-mail alias and a transport rule to route e-mails for this contact. View the configuration guide for details.

Private Meetings to keep information confidential
Confidential events are visible to organizers and attendees exclusively. Access to events and connected meeting workspace sites will be restricted and only organizers and attendees will be permitted to access.

Configure Meeting Request E-mail Body Templates
Full HTML Meeting Request E-mail Body Templates can be configured in Content Type settings of e-mail extended event types. Field's display names are used to configure tokens in the e-mail body that are replaced with values from the event on sending invites and updates. Configuring individual body templates enables customization on each single event to allow providing more individual information.

Time zones and daylight saving time
To support coordination globally the Calendar E-mail Extension supports time zones and daylight saving time.

Recurrence and Occurrence
Recurring meetings and divergent occurrences are fully supported. Calendar E-mail Extension tracks changes, sends updated meeting requests for divergent occurrences and keeps information in meeting workspaces up to date.

Automatic Meeting Workspace Provisioning
Calendar E-mail Extension accepts meeting requests and publishes meetings on SharePoint Calendar lists. In addition it creates and provides access to meeting workspace sites and notifies the meeting's organizer. Automatic Meeting Workspace Provisioning and the template to be used by default can be configured per list. This feature can be configured to allow external meeting organizers like gmail users on android phones to override missing access and permissions and provide meeting workspaces.

Let SharePoint take over the Meeting Organizer Role
Configure the Extension to accept meeting requests and take over the meetings organizer role. SharePoint establishes a new event and invites attendees requested in the original meeting and creates a meeting workspace.

Application Source Code available
The SharePoint Calendar E-mail Extension Source Code Edition contains the application source code in projects for Visual Studio 2010/2012. This enables you to add value and individualize your deployments and it enables you to integrate Calendar E-mail Extension with your SharePoint solutions.
